AMule is a very popular free application available on the internet. This program allows users to browse and search online for torrents (file sharing) and then download it from the internet. The applications use a peer-to-peer technology to provide this kind of downloading service. Once the files are downloaded, users are able to upload the files to their own private folders or upload to public networks such as those found on various websites. The sharing of the files is free and does not require any form of payment.
However, the free version is limited and does not offer features that are offered by the paid version. As such, there is a risk of losing important data when downloading from these types of websites. Moreover, the free versions do not allow users to search and download torrents of different files of different sizes. They only allow them to access the media (video, audio, photos, etc) that are included in the application.
Another limitation of the free version is that users cannot put data to the file in the form of a Zip or other archive. However, users can only access the files as a file type (text/plain). This means that files that are uploaded to the application do not automatically get added to the computer's local storage where they were first located. Users are unable to save these files on their local storage as well. They also cannot download other users' saved files. These applications are of great value because they are very convenient and allow users to download files of different files without wasting time in searching the files online.
